Marrakesh stole my heart ❤️ this colourful city with its rich Islamic history and architecture, bustling souks and kind people.

Al Bastakiya 🐪 one of my favourite spots in Dub

Al Bastakiya 🐪 one of my favourite spots in Dubai. It’s quieter and slower, has lots of art galleries and small shops and is true preservation of Dubai in the 1890s.

This neighbourhood was home to several housing units in its prime but as the rest of city started developing, this area was set to be demolished.

British architect, Rayner Otter, convinced Prince Charles via a campaign and in-person visit to restore the area. So in 2005, the project was initiated and it’s what you see today.

Sadly during my recent trip almost all the lanes were closed for construction ☹️ but I guess that’s a good thing that they’re willing to maintain this piece of history.

Can’t say the same about Toronto 😔

There’s so much to do at @evergreen_brick_works - enjoy the markets, take in the fresh air, see the city from the top of hill and stroll the Don Valley trails.

I love coming here (especially for early morning bird watching 🐦) and I’m glad to see more people discovering this gem in the city 💚

Catherine & Co officially started in 2020 by Émeraude Domingos-Mbuku from hobby to small business. While the world shut down, Émeraude and her mother Catherine spent a lot of time pouring and perfecting their candles.

Till today each candle is hand poured in Scarborough 💗

I’ve met Catherine a few times at local markets and had the chance to smell all the different scents. Truly a delight! She’s got a bunch of fun one’s named after Toronto spots so check them out and the new collection 😀
