In my personal opinion, this winter has been horrible – two major snowstorms, a whole lot of ice and barely any sunshine. If you’re craving happiness (or just something fun to do in the city), check out the newest insta-worthy spot in downtown Toronto – The7TO. Seven unique photo-op spaces take over the 7th floor of the Hudson’s Bay – Queen Street. Best part – it’s completely free!

These immersive spaces or “rooms” can certainly step up your Instagram game. From standing between larger than life bird legs to hopping on the back of a T-rex, this space is definitely cool for wacky photos. I took advantage of that by taking some quirky photos and boomerangs with my friend this past weekend.

Of the seven spaces, my favourites would be the ball pit and the disco room because both have prop elements to allow you to get creative with photos and videos. For videos, go check out my Instagram profile.

Even though The7TO is a free event – it’s surprisingly not too crowded on the event floor because people go up in groups. You get to experience each installation with almost no wait. My tip: go during the weekday to avoid the long line-up up to the 7th floor because there’s only one elevator.
Even though there’s no mention of an end date, you don’t want to miss it! Lemme know in the comments if you’ve been to The7TO yet or plan to.
